Utilising transfer time technology, this innovative flow meter is designed with an FPGA chip and low-voltage broadband pulse transmission. It comes with the flexibility of both Clamp-On and Insertion type sensors, enabling you to choose the best option for your application.

The WUFS 901 features a 240*128 backlit LCD display with a user-friendly menu selection and 4- line display. The totalized flow can be measured on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Additionally, it offers parallel operation of positive, negative, and net flow totalises with a scale factor (span) and BTU capacity. The totalise pulse and frequency output are transmitted via relay and open collector.

Ultrasonic Flow Meter Working Principle

The ultrasonic flow meter working principle is based on transit-time technology, where ultrasonic signals are transmitted between sensors installed on the pipe. The difference in transit time of the signals travelling upstream and downstream is used to determine the flow rate. This non-invasive measurement method allows the ultrasonic flow sensor to measure flow without requiring major modifications to the pipeline. WiseAir’s WUFS 904 uses advanced signal processing with an FPGA chip to provide reliable and accurate flow measurement.

Clamp On Ultrasonic Flow Meter and Flow Sensor

A clamp on ultrasonic flow meter provides a flexible solution for applications where cutting or modifying the existing pipeline is not preferred. The transducers can be mounted externally on the pipe, making installation and maintenance more convenient. WiseAir also offers insertion-type ultrasonic flow sensors for applications requiring an alternative sensor configuration.
